▷ first impressions —
▶ VISUAL: Although short in stature, his body is compact and densely packed in lean muscle. Contrary to the model soldier, he carries a slouching posture and a thuggish gait. His hair is styled in a full undercut, with long bangs and the back and sides cropped closely by straight razor at the ear. If the Survey Corps uniform is not being worn, or some dressed down variation, typical clothing consists of dark-colored, largely indistinct items, such as long-sleeved button-down or low necked shirts and basic slacks. Most standout worthy are the many belts of the vertical maneuvering gear's harness and his tendency towards a nondescript, hooded cloak. He is highly recognizable for his deeply sunken in eyes (dead fish eyes) and perpetually angry face.
▶ AURAL: Represented by Kamiya Hiroshi, Levi has a low voice that is characteristically dark and gritty. It has a slight nasal undertone. Although raised in threat, it is usually fairly even. His native language is specific to his canon universe, presumed Germanic and written in a style resembling upside down Japanese.
▶ OLFACTORY: Ammonia and black tea.
▶ BEHAVIOR: Both incredibly awkward and incredibly self-assured, Levi is a person who is very direct, put together, and composed. While he usually doesn't say more than he has to, when he gets going, he has a tendency to blabber. Giving off more of a negative vibe than a neutral one, most of the time it seems like he is prepared to make lots of petty complaints... but in actuality, he is a tremendously hard worker and his frequent verbal backlash towards others does not exclude them from his basic respect. There are few instances where he wavers in complete sincerity, good or bad. One such instance may be in discussion of personal questions; he is a very private person.

▶ ABILITIES: superhuman strength: In canon, he is deemed "humanity's strongest soldier" and described to have the strength of an entire brigade. He regularly performs past the boundaries of average human ability. While it is difficult to determine the exact breadth of this, he is repeatedly shown to have incredible brute strength on both a human to human level and against the unnaturally thick-skinned titans.

vertical maneuvering gear: Levi is an expert in the use of his world's standard military equipment, the vertical maneuvering gear or 3DMG. The 3DMG is a potentially dangerous device that requires full-body discipline and seamless maneuverability to use as intended, thus his mastery of it provides him with a unique fighting style adapted to its best use. While the device was created for the purpose of efficient titan extermination, like the MPB first interior squad's counterpart, Levi is shown to easily adapt it for the use of killing humans as well.

weapons proficiency: Though he is a masterful learner at any physical discipline he attempts, Levi has significant experience in hand-to-hand and using blades (from short blades such as daggers/shivs to the often duel-wielded maneuvering gear blades) and firearms (rifles, handguns, cannon, equivalent to approx. 13th-18th century Europe).

other: Levi has extensive experience in high-stress battle and living situations, and therefore has a significant grasp on survival skills, basic first aid, horseback riding, military strategy and teamwork.

Spoilers, additional ability information: the super-human capacity is shared between no less than three members of the Ackerman bloodline, described by Kenny as "a moment where it was like a power had awakened inside [of him]." This Ackerman capacity provides a high proficiency in all facets of body control: incredible strength, agility, endurance, etc.
